Only we humans are capable of shaping our living environment more and more according to our own ideas. However, as we adapt more perfectly to this shaped environment, we easily lose our ability to continually seek new paths and learn from our own mistakes. Yet we are free; we have a choice. We can question these taken-for-granted ideas, we can let them go, and we can decide to shape our lives and our coexistence differently. Because humans are social beings. And for the development of the potentials inherent in us, we need encounters and exchanges with others.
