This textbook covers advanced methods of multivariate data analysis and is specifically aimed at master's and doctoral programs. The following methods are presented: - Nonlinear regression analysis - Structural equation modeling - Confirmatory factor analysis - Choice-based conjoint analysis - Neural networks - Multidimensional scaling (MDS) - Correspondence analysis. Minimal mathematical prerequisites are required for understanding, and each chapter can be read independently. After an intuitive explanation of the procedures for each method, they are calculated and interpreted using a detailed case study, employing the statistical software IBM SPSS, and partially also with MS Excel and Sawtooth's conjoint software as well as AMOS. Care has been taken to ensure that all calculation steps are comprehensible.
