Margherita Spiluttini (*1947) is one of the most renowned architectural photographers in Europe, firmly rooted in the art context. Since the early 1980s, Spiluttini has developed an independent body of work that is characterized by a precise, clear, and unpretentious visual language, as well as a consistently content-driven and medium-specific approach to architectural and landscape subjects. The artist does not present built structures in spectacular views or isolated for advertising purposes, but always in the context of the everyday environment. The exhibition specifically designed for the Landesgalerie Linz focuses on the visual perception of architecture as built space and place.
