Foreword

My fifth book on the subject of nudes is before you and aims to entertain. A refugee child once had a dream that did not come true. I wanted to become a forester, but since I have one eye without vision and could not see in three dimensions, this career aspiration, like later that of a photographer, was shattered. I learned the trade of baking and fled the Republic after a political measure. In West Germany, I obtained my journeyman's certificate, came into contact with photography, and purchased my first camera through an installment plan. Longing for home, I returned to East Germany and became a member of the Cultural Association, Section Photography, in 1960.
