Target Group:
Advanced learners. Vocabulary and grammar from the beginner level are assumed.

Learning Objectives:
Ability to act in communicative standard situations, including appropriately polite language style, listening comprehension in practice-oriented dialogues and factual texts, reading comprehension and writing skills for general language topics and relevant text types, grammatical structures of complete basic Japanese grammar, as well as polite language, B2.1 of the European Framework.

Concept:
Alongside the texts presented in original Japanese mixed script (Kanji consistently accompanied by Furigana), a German vocabulary column is provided. All 12 lessons offer stylistically sophisticated and extensive narrative texts (continuation of the beginner level story), which include all relevant text types, situations, themes, and grammatical structures. A comprehensive exercise section on grammar, vocabulary, and situational patterns allows for immediate application and deepening of the learned material.
The Japanese-German and German-Japanese glossary with all vocabulary used in the textbook, the audio material, and the answer key are available for download. This makes the volume suitable for self-study as well.
