Chemist Leo Kall has found a way into the souls of his fellow citizens with a truth drug. The state's new interrogation method takes control of people. Anti-state thoughts are unmasked, all citizens are brought into line, marriages are usually entered into purely as a marriage of convenience in order to give the state children.
