Read, combine, solve - a tricky math fun for in-between: In the volume "Logical Puzzles for Mathematics Classes" for 7th and 8th grade, students read information on the topics of assignments, expressions and equations, solids and their nets, as well as probability. They skillfully combine the clues contained within and arrange them in a logical order. Only then can the posed question be answered. While working on the logical puzzles, students train a systematic and combinatorial approach. Their reading and thinking skills are improved and strengthened, and furthermore, the logical puzzles promote students' reading competence, which is also an interdisciplinary teaching principle that includes mathematics. All logical puzzles are offered in two differentiated levels of difficulty: once students must read ten sentences and once twelve sentences to proceed.
