Jean Paul Mongin says that philosophy is the love of wisdom. Although he himself is not wise at all, he is head over heels in love with philosophy. For a while, he taught, but he prefers to write stories. He lives and works in Paris. Since becoming a father himself, he firmly believes that children have the ability to change the world. François Schwoebel spent his childhood in rural Normandy, chasing after all the animals that still buzz through his imagination today. He has three daughters and divides his time equally between drawing and painting, family life, and rural excursions.
