Volkmar Sigusch analyzes new and old phenomena of sexual activity, ranging from the Love Parade and love for animals to Viagra and cybersex, as well as homosexuality, transgenderism, and cisgender sexuality. He demonstrates how our sexual and gender lives have changed over the past few decades: more self-assured, freer, and more colorful, yet increasingly commercialized and trivialized.
