The Pattex 60sec Universal Adhesive bonds within just 60 seconds and develops a strong adhesive force within 24 hours, making quick household repairs a breeze. The transparent, liquid adhesive contains no solvents and dries clear. Thanks to its non-dripping gel formula, the adhesive is also excellent for vertical and flexible applications. With the repair adhesive, large-area bonding can be achieved through economical, precise application. Corrections can be made within 40 seconds.
Application:
1. Surfaces must be solid, clean, free from release agents, and properly aligned.
2. To open the tube for the first time, firmly screw the complete cap onto the tube.
3. Apply the repair adhesive thinly on one side. The thinner the adhesive film, the faster and stronger the bond will be.
4. Immediately join the parts together and press for an average of 60 seconds (depending on the material). Depending on the material, corrections can be made for up to 40 seconds. Exceptions include PE, PP, PTFE, glass, glazed surfaces, delicate textiles, Styrofoam, soft PVC, and similar materials.

Instructions for use | Substrate pre-treatment: Moisten absorbent, porous substrates (e.g. concrete, plasterboard, untreated wood) before application (e.g. with a brush). Application: Cut open the cartridge above the thread, screw on the plastic nozzle and cut off according to the joint width. Then insert the cartridge into a cartridge gun (e.g. Metylan cartridge gun). Mask the edges of the joint with adhesive tape if necessary. Then spray the Metylan sealant bubble-free into the joint and protect the joint from water until a resilient skin has formed. the applied sealant is initially white and becomes transparent as it dries. Smooth: Moisten the applied sealant with clear water only. Remove excess sealant with a suitable tool. Remove the adhesive tape immediately and smooth if necessary (follow the instructions on the tool). Protect the joint from exposure to water (e.g. rain) until a firm skin has formed. |
