Product details

Pattex Kraftkleber Classic is a solvent based contact adhesive. Apply Pattex Kraftkleber Classic evenly to both parts to be bonded. Before assembling the parts, the solvents must be flashed off. This takes about 15 minutes at normal room temperature. Put the parts together briefly but firmly. Subsequent correction is not possible. The initial strength is already so high that the workpiece can be further processed immediately after bonding. The final strength is reached after 3 days.

Substrate preparation: Almost all absorbent and non-absorbent materials are suitable as substrates, except PE, PP, PTFE, etc. The substrates must be solid, clean and free of release agents. Remove release agents with a suitable solvent, e.g. alcohol, or sand the surface. A prerequisite for the adhesive to set is the absorption of small amounts of moisture (from the air or from one of the materials to be bonded). Always check coatings for adhesion and remove if necessary. Opening: To open the tube for the first time, screw the complete cap firmly onto the tube. Application: Apply a thin layer of adhesive to one side. The thinner the adhesive film, the faster and stronger the bond. Join the parts immediately and press together for approx. 10 - 80 seconds (depending on the material). Correction is possible in the first 10 seconds. Cleaning: Clean immediately after employees with alcohol or solvent. Wipe dry.
