Die schwarze Patrone zeigt sich im Test mit hoher Druckqualität, wobei die Tinte sehr beständig bei Wasser ist. Bei Licht und Wischen hingegen ist die Beständigkeit nur durchschnittlich. Wiederum ist das Auspacken und das Einsetzen einfach erledigt, die schlechte Anleitung ist jedoch kein Grund dafür.

Die Verpackung der Pelikan C57 ist nicht gut gewählt, wobei das Auspacken und das Einsetzen der Patrone jedoch einfach gestaltet ist. Die Patrone druckt hochwertig und zeigt sich bei Wasser sehr beständig. Die Beständigkeit bei Licht und Wischen könnte hingegen besser sein, ebenso wie die Füllstandsanzeige.
