P3 indicates a good security level, as the particles are only 5 x 42 mm in size. The waste container has a volume of 15 liters, which corresponds to 100 A4 sheets. Additionally, it is also possible to shred paper clips and staples. With particle or cross-cut shredding, the documents you entrust to the device for destruction are cut both lengthwise and crosswise. The size of the resulting particles determines the security level and thus the intended use of the device. Compared to a strip-cut shredder, the particles not only provide a higher level of data security, as reconstruction is more difficult than with strips, but they also take up slightly less space in the waste container since they are more compact.
