Target group: Participants in literacy courses both domestically and internationally: primary and functional illiterates as well as second-language learners.
The three-volume textbook "Schritte plus Alpha Neu" meets the curricular requirements of the BAMF for the Basic Alpha Course.
In "Schritte plus Alpha Neu 3," tasks focusing on orthographic writing are emphasized, such as distinguishing similar letters (groups), word endings, etc. New vocabulary is introduced in sentences and short texts. Course participants become familiar with various task types to reinforce reading comprehension and engage in small writing tasks. Grammatical phenomena are increasingly presented explicitly. Communication strategies are secured and automated through communicative exercises. Each lesson includes at least two optional video clips that either visually support or expand on a task. Audio files can be accessed through the Augmented Reality app. Free supplementary materials, such as a detailed teacher's manual, lesson plans, etc., are offered through the textbook service.
