4. Universal Liminal
The album 'Liminal' is the result of a creative collaboration between music legend Brian Eno and conceptual artist Beatie Wolfe. It follows the previous albums 'Luminal' and 'Lateral', both known for their innovative fusion of ambient music and alternative pop. 'Liminal' continues this tradition, offering a unique soundscape that is both musically distinct and deeply connected to the previous projects. The two artists are not only known for their musical contributions but also for their commitment to the music industry, particularly through their membership in EarthPercent, a non-profit organization dedicated to climate protection. Thus, this album is not only an artistic work but also a statement for a sustainable future in music.

5. Universal Blue Land
For the successor to his ECM leader debut La traversée, French saxophonist Matthieu Bordenave expands his trio with German pianist Florian Weber and French bassist Patrice Moret by adding the unique sensitivity of drummer James Maddren, whose persistent pulse provides a skillful counterpoint to the already distinctive sound of the group. In addition to the emotionally sharp rendition of John Coltrane's 'Compassion', the quartet tackles eight original pieces by Bordenave that bridge the gap between chamber jazz dynamics and post-swing designs. Weber's and Bordenave's unconventional approaches to their instruments—Bordenave is featured on both tenor and soprano saxophones—seamlessly intertwine, weaving unexpected lines over a highly interactive rhythm section. The Blue Land was recorded in 2022 in Pernes-Les-Fontaines and produced by Manfred Eicher.

6. Universal Eno:The Skies,they shift like chords,CD
Essentially, it’s about transience, Eno says of the new recording, whose moments of silence are of great importance so that the music can breathe while the listener explores what they feel and what comes to mind. His new album "The skies, they shift like chords" builds on the sound world of piano and strings that Eno first introduced on his debut solo album "The Turning Year." With instruments such as electric guitar, clarinet, bass clarinet, vibraphone, flute organ, and electronica, he creates an emotional thread that accompanies the listener. His inspiration is drawn from his connection to his home in East Anglia. Most pieces originated from improvisations, the musical snapshots that Eno speaks of. They are best captured by letting go of the details. Roger Eno releases his second solo album "The skies, they shift like chords" with Deutsche Grammophon.

7. Universal Gard Nilssen Acou.Unity:Elastic Wave,CD
The debut of drummer Gard Nilssen on ECM comes after he has contributed to highly regarded recordings with the Maciej Obara Quartet and Mathias Eick. Elastic Wave showcases Nilssen's powerful trio featuring his Norwegian colleague André Roligheten on saxophone and Swedish bassist Petter Eldh. The dynamic interplay of the group, their danceable pulse, and distinctive themes—each of the three players contributes compositions—make Acoustic Unity one of the most interesting bands in today's scene. The trio interprets stirring anthems and subtle ballads with equal measures of energy and conviction. Elastic Wave was recorded in June 2021 at the La Buissonne studios in southern France.
