Dear Community. Can this machine also cut corrugated cardboard? Thanks for the info.

The Maker 3 can (only) "cut" materials up to 2.4 mm thick with the knife blade. BUT: The control software expects a material definition incl. material thickness before cutting. Soft wood, hardboard, forex plastic, craft cardboard work, but here too, the software calculates both the cutting pressure and the number of repetitions (up to over 20) itself when using the knife blade. Plywood, for example, does not work because of the layers of glue that deflect the knife and may even cause it to break at high pressure. Corrugated cardboard also contains glue, so rather: No, no corrugated cardboard!
