Product details
Bumble and Bimble figure. These cute creatures belong to the species of Hoptimists. The universe of these small wooden figures with funny springy heads was originally conceived in 1968 by Danish cabinetmaker Hans Gustav Ehrenreich, but production was halted after only about five years. In 2009, Lotte Steffensen reactivated the brand Hoptimist, created specifically for this purpose, to revive Ehrenreich's spirit: Their round, friendly facial shapes are meant to make us smile, and their bouncing serves as a motivational aid, brightening our day a little. The concept also includes that each Hoptimist, despite their different sizes and materials, is assembled in a workshop for people with disabilities: First, we glue felt under the feet, then attach the spring to the base, and when the head is placed on top and we let go – they come to life. Baby Bimble figure. With eyes squeezed shut from laughter and a chubby nose, this little, bobbing companion made of colorful plastic encourages you to place your hands on your belly and laugh heartily along with it.
