Air filter against viruses and mites/pollen (allergy)

Hello, Due to a weakening of my immune system, I currently need to protect myself against viruses, and I would also like to do something about my mite allergy (I also have a pollen allergy in spring). I am therefore looking for an air filter for my practice room (approx. 15m2) and possibly also for my bedroom or office at home (also approx. 15m2 in each case). Which device is particularly good against viruses and mites/pollen? I look forward to tips!

    Air filter against pollen allergy

Hello everyone I am looking for one or more air filters against pollen. The situation: I have 2 rooms (bedroom and office) of approx. 20m2 each and my workplace is more than 100m2 and there is movement in the air. I have looked at the following articles: https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s2/product/xiaomi-smart-air-purifier-4-compact-27-m-luftreiniger-22862906 https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s2/product/xiaomi-smart-air-purifier-4-48-m-luftreiniger-19112333 https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s2/product/ible-airvida-m1-luftreiniger-15234078 What do you think, would the Compact be sufficient in the 2 rooms and is the Airvida something for my workplace? Unfortunately you can find quite a lot of good and bad things about all the articles.

Data for air purifiers is not maintained

Hello, please update and revise the data and filters for the air purifiers. A dbmax of over 100dB is just ridiculous, see e.g. https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s2/product/philips-pureprotect-3200-series-135-m-luftreiniger-49064411?tagIds=40-1581. In addition, please specify the filters as band controllers, who wants to click on 100 different volume levels. Thank you

    Stupid air purifiers?

I'm looking for an air purifier that I can simply connect to a timer. Ideally, it should simply have a switch-on button and start automatically when it is connected to the power supply. However, I can only find either horrendously expensive models with an app or ones that don't switch on automatically but only switch off automatically. Both are unsuitable for my purpose, because I don't want a smart air purifier but one that is as dumb as possible. Does anyone know of a product that works the way I want it to?

    Air purifier

Hello Have had 2 boneco in use for about 6mt. The big one in the living room and the small one in the bedroom. The big one could be programmed. Too high for me and I don't need it. Long story short. I also wanted to install a timer etc. Have one for plants as it makes sense there. My two boxes run for 12-14 hours a day at max. you'd be amazed how much fine dust there is in the flat. My filter on the big one is black. The large boneco saves the last programme when it is switched off. The small one doesn't and has to be reselected manually every time it is started. It's easy. I switch both of them on and off every day with my finger. I find it easy. I have boneco and I'm talking about them. So no ching ching or anything like that. I'm satisfied. Unfortunately I can't upload a photo of the filter here. But I'll add a review later. Can only recommend such boxes. I can't say anything about power consumption, noise etc. Only that I wouldn't give the two boneco away again.

Air purifier against hair lacquer (aerosol) and perfume wanted

Hello together I am looking for an air purifier that can filter hair lacquer (aerosol) and perfume particles from the air as quickly and efficiently as possible. Ideally a device with an automatic mode. What can you recommend and what should I bear in mind? Thank you very much.

    Air purifier in Minergie flat

I have been living in a Minergie flat for a few days. It is ventilated "automatically" and a filter is also installed in the ventilation system. You can also order a special pollen filter for the ventilation system, for example. I still have some old air cleaners from my old flat, bought mainly because of hay fever and asthma. Does it make sense at all to use an air purifier in such a Minergie flat or is the automatic ventilation system with pollen filter sufficient for my allergies?

Air purifier primarily for cat hair

Hello dear community I am looking for an air purifier especially for cat hair. I have 4 indoor cats. The hair also flies around in the air after vacuuming. I have read that a HEPA filter would be good. Most machines don't say anything about their performance for removing cat hair. My boyfriend is also allergic to pollen. Does anyone have a recommendation for an air purifier?

    Air purifier against SARS-COVIT-19

The Blueair Healthprotect (https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s2/product/blueair-healthprotect-7470i-38m-luftreiniger-14985167) has an official certificate, obtained through tests, that it reliably removes SARS-Cov-19. Are there any other devices that have such a certificate?

    Attention with Philips air purifiers

Not yet five years ago, I bought a Philips air purifier (AC4080). Recently I wanted to replace the activated carbon filter. Unfortunately, it is no longer available. I wrote to Philips Consumer Care and asked which filter was compatible with my device. Unfortunately, there is no replacement filter and no other solution. I now have to dispose of my perfectly functioning appliance and buy a new one just because the activated charcoal filter is no longer available. We end consumers are trimmed and sometimes even coerced into sustainability and told to be careful with the environment (which is absolutely justified). But companies like Philips are not interested in this. At most, marketing feasts on a few phrases for a good sales argument. I find this absolutely reprehensible and once again the end consumer is the fool. In any case, I won't be buying my electric toothbrush from Philips, as I thought I would. Of course they won't care. But I won't be buying that brand again.

    Air Purifier Hay Fever

Hello together I usually have hay fever from January / February. But after seeing that there are dozens of devices.... is this the right one? There are much more expensive ones? Thank you all

Air cooler or humidifier to the air purifier? (To be on the safe side, I am also posting this question in this forum).

I live in a dusty old attic flat. It gets very hot in the summer. If I look at it correctly, I need: - Air conditioner - Humidifier - Air purifier A proper air conditioner is definitely not in the BUdget. "Coldtec by Kibernetik LK120" would be a humidifier with cooling option. The "Xioami Mi Air Purifier 3H" is the air purifier I want. I thought that both would be ideal in combination. But now I have noticed the "Xiaomi Smartmi" humidifier. According to its specifications, it doesn't cool, but it humidifies the air. It would actually be much cooler if both devices were smart and from the same manufacturer. So air purifier from Xiaomi, humidifier from Xiaomi. But then the cooling option would be omitted. What do you think? Could the humidity alone provide some cooling? I am torn, can't decide :( Thank you in advance for any answers.

    Lightweight and portable ionizer ?

I can't find a portable, usb-chargeable, light and handy model in the range. Is this type of model lacking in "power" or will there be any soon on digitec?

Air purifier without ioniser wanted - Against dust & odour

Hello together Almost exactly a year ago we did a full renovation; sanding the floor & breaking out a wall. Even today I have the feeling that there is much more dust in the air in the flat since then. No sooner have I cleaned than another layer of dust is laid down. That is why I am looking for an efficient dust remover. As there are two tomcats in the flat, an ioniser is out of the question & in general the appliance has to be pet-friendly. Now my question: can anyone recommend a device for +60m² that really efficiently removes dust (Prio 1) & odours (Prio 2, not mandatory)? Budget-wise, up to CHF 600 would be optimal. Thank you very much!

Air purifier and humidifier can be switched on separately

There are some combination units on Galaxus that both humidify and purify the air. All these units I have looked at so far can only run both modes simultaneously, not separately. I'm looking for a unit that has both of these functions, but can run both simultaneously and separately, or at least clean the air separately. Because when the air is humid in the summer, I don't want to have to buy another unit just to clean the air when I already have a combi unit.... Is there such a thing?

    For hay fever

Unfortunately I am allergic to pollen (grasses) but I still like to sleep with the window open. Is it really worth buying an air purifier? What are your experiences? It's several hundred francs, too much for a placebo effect :-)
