Lid made of polished 18/10 stainless steel

Alessi has set itself the ambitious goal of placing its third cookware series alongside the "La Cintura di Orione" series by Sapper made of copper and steel, as well as the "Mami" series by Stefano Giovannoni made of steel with an aluminum base. This line belongs to a decidedly lower price category while maintaining the same design quality and a special focus on functionality. Jasper Morrison has tackled the challenging theme of representing "pottery" and has chosen to forego his rigorous, linear style in favor of a small design masterpiece of "Super & Popular." The project has found attentive and careful solutions for some details, such as the flared rim suitable for drip-free pouring, the internal wall scale, the lid handle that allows stacking pots even with the lid closed, and the lid that can be lifted with a cooking spoon.
