Stovetop espresso makers come in various sizes, as the filter must always be completely filled with coffee. Otherwise, the water flows too quickly through the filter, resulting in a weak brew. By using two or more stovetop makers of different sizes, you can flexibly prepare a larger amount of coffee at once. The Moka Express stovetop maker is made of aluminum and can be used on electric and gas stoves. Our range also includes stovetop makers made of stainless steel that work on induction cooktops.
The coffee used in the stovetop maker should be ground finer than for filter coffee but coarser than for true espresso coffee. We recommend freshly roasted coffee beans and a high-quality coffee grinder.
