Instructions for use | Substrate pre-treatment: Substrates must be smooth, dry, clean, absorbent and sound. Remove dust, loose material and other impurities as well as water-soluble, non-load-bearing paints. Remove old wallpaper with Metylan Wallpaper Remover Expert or Metylan Active Wallpaper Remover. Application: Metylan Special Primer is applied undiluted to the substrate using a paint roller or airless applicator. The white pigmented wallpapering primer creates a uniformly coloured substrate, which is essential for non-woven wallpapers and other translucent wallpapers and wall coverings (wood-free paper wallpapers, natural materials, textile wallpapers). Substrates with discolouration-causing factors (e.g. soot contamination, chimney sooting) must be renovated using suitable measures. |
