Of course, this is possible (can be changed in the menu). But what the machine can do really excellently is brew freshly ground beans in conjunction with the timer. Personally, I wouldn't even think of using it any other way. Definitely give it a try if you decide to buy this machine. Greetings Ceb

Hello, does anyone know the problem that the grinder does not start? I have set a bean and filled it with water. When I press On, some strokes turn in the middle but nothing happens. I removed the coffee completely again, cleaned the grinder. But also in the second attempt nothing happens. The machine is brand new. I am at a loss. Can anyone help?

Good morning, I just used ours 😊 I can't imagine you did anything wrong. Water, beans, strength, grind, number of cups.... You chose one bean - otherwise there would be the button with the option to use already ground powder in the filter. Then the machine would not grind either, but it would start boiling water after starting - and you would see the corresponding symbol in the display. Timer is not activated either? I hope you find out and can enjoy the coffee soon! Otherwise Galaxus has great customer service 😅👍🏻

I don't think so. The glass jug sits on the bottom of the hotplate and presses the valve on top. So the shape has to be exactly right and a thermos jug doesn't belong on a hotplate either ;) I would simply transfer the finished coffee from the glass jug into the thermos jug, if desired :)

from what I could gather from other sites like Amazon, the water tank is only non-removable on older models, I think only the models up to 2018. the 2019 models and up seem to have a removable tank. Which year is this model from, or is it definite that the models in stock at Digitec belong to the older models, i.e. have a "non-removable" water tank?

Hello, I bought my 2021 model at Galaxus and the tank is not removable, but otherwise everything is tip-top, and the non-removable water tank was not such a big problem, you can clean it quite well. I am currently selling my coffee machine as I have switched back to capsules, I am selling it including 1 pack of coffee, 1 descaler and 1 pack of filters, currently advertised on Ricardo.

I am really undecided between this machine and the LookTherm Perfection. Is this one more expensive just because of the grinding feature? But would there really be a difference in the taste of the coffee? Is the AromaFresh worth the price compared to a classic filter coffee maker?

We were not able to test this model. Unfortunately, we cannot give you a precise opinion. However, the AromaFresh model is more efficient and allows a more precise configuration according to your tastes. It also allows you to program the coffee time and to keep the coffee warm. We leave this question open if anyone would like to add a review of this product. :)

I have just searched our distributor database, unfortunately none of our suppliers seems to be able to organise the copper version (manufacturer number 1021-04) at the moment 😔 Should this change in the future, we will of course be happy to include the copper model in our range.
