The images shown states "Made in Germany" however, the specifications states made in China. Could you please confirm if this is indeed the 'made in germany' version as per the photos?

The WMF frying pan 28 cm is made in China, even if some product images still say "Made in Germany". These photos are from older series. Current batches are made in China, but the quality and material (Cromargan stainless steel) remain the same.

The pan is made of Cromargan® 18/10, a stainless steel alloy with a nickel content of approx. 10 %. It is therefore not nickel-free. Thank you very much for letting us know. We have submitted a correction request.

What type of preparation is this frying pan best suited to? Does it stand up well to acidic sauces (tomatoes, milk, vinegar)? Is it better to gradually increase the heat without approaching maximum, or can you heat quickly over high heat without the risk of the contents sticking or burning immediately in the absence of a large amount of fat? What are the maintenance recommendations? Rather a non-abrasive sponge and mild detergent, or is the interior resistant to abrasive sponges (due to the absence of a non-stick coating)?

What is the difference between this frying pan and the identical "https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s2/product/wmf-profi-unbeschichtet-edelstahl-28-cm-bratpfanne-pfanne-kochtopf-236480" apart from the price? Is one made in China and the other in Germany? That's what google gives me with the article numbers. But unfortunately I only found one article about it.

After some research, it seems that the cutlery offered by WMF is currently made in Germany. However, the pots and pans appear to be made in China or Vietnam at the time of writing.
