Hello Anonymous, here are a few comments; 1. caution: The Kibernetik M20 is equipped with the refrigerant R410A. This is a fluoridated hydrocarbon and no longer complies with EU directives on Co2 reduction. This gas has been banned in mobile dehumidifiers and air conditioning systems in all European countries since 2020. the MDK21 has the refrigerant R290 and is therefore Co2 neutral. 2. maximum air circulation with the M20 is 150m3 with the MDK21: 190m3. So around 40% more. Good air circulation is absolutely crucial, especially in laundry drying. The water molecules must be "blown out" between the washing lines and in front of the dehumidifier so that the laundry can dry quickly. With the MDK21, a load of laundry weighing approx. 4kg dries within 2-4 hours. 3. the MDK21 comes with a 3-year guarantee. The M20 "only" fulfils the minimum requirement of 2 years Conclusion: Clearly the Kibernetik dehumidifier is inexpensive at first glance. However, the Wood's MDK21 proves to be much more economical in daily use. The additional price is amortised within a few months. I hope that this explanation has shed some light on the subject. It is located in my basement in the hallway and dehumidifies the entire basement of approx. 70m2 with the doors open. It draws out an incredible amount of water, very efficiently! The volume is ok. I am very sensitive to noise and actually find it quite pleasant. It's a steady hiss. But, as I said, it's in the basement. I wouldn't necessarily sleep right next to it. However, I would give it a clear recommendation to buy.

We had it in operation for two summers. From May to about September, because during that time the humidity in the flat was high when we hung out the laundry. You can hear it quite well and we always close the door when it is on. But the fan seems quite loud to me. I can't tell if I hear the compressor as well. But we are very satisfied. Some of the laundry is dry in 24 hours. This is great with a small child.

What is the energy class of the appliance?

Unfortunately, I don't know what energy class the appliance has. Max 340 watts power. I have a timer, so the thing only runs at low tariff during the night. That is completely sufficient for me. The cellar area is now dry.
