It is possible to combine the device with a standard room thermostat to utilize solar energy for heating during the cold season. Additionally, it can be paired with a rain sensor to protect the awning fabric and mechanism. Users can choose between a wireless sun sensor or a wired sensor. Dusk automation can be implemented either through preset sun path times or via the wireless sun sensor.
