The cup is made of Tritan and is IPX-4 splash-proof. This means that the espresso can also be prepared in the cup and weighed at the same time. The built-in rechargeable battery has a capacity of 400mAh and can be charged via USB.
The cup can be rinsed under running water, it is not dishwasher-safe and the base cannot be completely submerged in water.
