The Finnish Thermometer 8830 is a temperature and humidity meter suitable for monitoring indoor air. It features a large and clear display and can be mounted on the wall or placed on a table using the integrated stand. The meter operates independently but can also be connected to the TFA.me system, allowing measurement data to be monitored remotely via a smart device through a Wi-Fi connection.

When the meter is connected to the TFA.me system via a gateway, measurement data is transmitted to the web service. The service allows users to view real-time and historical data, as well as set alerts for temperature and humidity thresholds. You will receive an email if the measurement values deviate from the set limits, for example, at home or at the cottage.

The meter covers a temperature measurement range of -10 to +60 °C and humidity of 10 to 99%. This makes it suitable for various indoor air monitoring in different rooms.

The meter has a wireless connection operating at a frequency of 868 MHz, with a range of about 100 meters in free space. The device dimensions are 481 x 22 (32) x 82 (81) mm, and it uses two AA batteries (1.5 V), which are not included in the package.

The mounting hole at the back allows for simple wall mounting, and thanks to the stand, the meter can also be securely placed on a table.

The Finnish Thermometer 8830 is compatible with other TFA.me system devices, such as gateways 8810 and 8832, which relay measurement data to the service.
