Product details

The Santoku knife shape is very popular in Europe. The small Yaxell ZEN Santoku knife features a stainless VG 10 core layer, which is forged on both sides with 18 layers of stainless carbon steel Damascus, resulting in a Damascus appearance with a total of 37 layers.

The part of the blade that extends towards the spine has a polished hammer finish, which contrasts sharply with the matte lines of the Damascus pattern leading to the edge.

The handle is made from robust linen micarta with a wood-like appearance. The blade is secured in the handle with two stainless steel rivets.
