It is used for managing water-based underfloor heating systems. The second generation offers functionality through association groups with Z-Wave binary switches. This means that devices such as relays or plug adapters can be directly linked to the thermostat, allowing you to operate any on/off heating switch without the need for a static Z-Wave gateway to be active.
