The unit consumes energy, so it also gives off heat. In my basement, it raises the air temperature by maybe 1°C.
There is a hose connection. A hose is not supplied.
The humidity display in the unit always shows much higher values than my external hygrometers at a distance of about 1-2 m from the unit.
