I received the Bialetti New Venus - when I opened it, I saw and heard that there was a small loose steel ball in the bottom of the jug. Has this come loose somewhere? - I don't know where. Perhaps someone can help me. LG

It looks like a defective pressure relief valve to me. Do not use it under any circumstances and return it for repair.

I don't remember such a small ball and I don't know where it would be installed in mine. The construction of the bialetti is quite simple, so I would just ignore it and if necessary complain later if something doesn't work.
