No real answer to your question, but: How - and how quickly - did it happen? We've had one for about 1 month, and something's not right - especially with Kaltschuam. If you don't press on it firmly with your finger, it only foams briefly, starts rattling and stops again. I don't understand if something is defective or if the appliance is just extremely finicky.
