Question about Kenwood Bowl

The manufacturer's website says that the bowl is not suitable for the latest Cooking Chef Gourmet. Is this true?

The bowl fits into the holder, but does not hold very well. You also have to remove the steam guard at the top of the mixer, otherwise it won't fold down. It works and is a cheaper alternative, but with the limitations mentioned. I would not buy a plastic bowl again.

Yes it fits, but only with the dough mixer. The siphon and whisk don't quite fit somehow and make quite a bit of resistance and an ugly noise when you turn them. I only need it for mixing dough. For the other functions, the chrome steel bowl with induction (item no. 411998) is worthwhile. I bought one of these in addition to the original bowl supplied, because sometimes it's great to have a second "real" bowl for complex cooking. The plastic bowl is therefore only a makeshift solution in the Cooking Chef Gourmet.
