Question about TP-Link Tapo T310

Thinking about getting the T310 temperature / humidity sensor for our animal barn. I have a Tapo C210 camera in there now with no problems. I know I would need a hub for the T310, but does the T310 need to be within direct wifi range of the HUB itself? Or, can the T310 simply connect to the same wifi that the camera is on? The wifi network and the Tapo hub would be on the same LAN. Thanks for any input.

Hello, unfortunately the T310 must be within direct range of the hub, for me the maximum is approx. 10-15 metres with 2 walls in between

Speedy91 is right. But it is not WLAN but another wireless connection
