What is the measuring accuracy of the hygrometer? I know from experience that you have to reckon with plus minus 15% (!), so utopian values. What is the measurement accuracy here? Thank you very much.

I put our 2 other mechanical hygrometers with pointers in my workroom this night and found that all 3 show the same value. So I assume that the readings are correct, i.e. that the Beurer hygrometer is working.

According to Beurer, the measuring accuracy of the hygrometer is ± 5% RH (at 40% to 80%) and ± 8% RH (at 20°C to 40% and 80% to 95%).

In my experience, this hygrometer is unreliable. In the salt test it shows 71% instead of the correct 75%.
On the other hand, "TFA 30.5051.02", which is cheaper and has a much smaller width and height (but a greater depth), showed me a correct 74.8% in the same salt test.

With mine the difference was up to 35% difference to a mechanical meter
