Using trekking boots, but often during excursions or when mushroom hunting in the bushes, leaves, pine needles, or small stones get stuck between the ankle and the boot. Classic gaiters are too high and do not allow breathability, and often the strap under the shoe creates a risk of losing grip of the sole... Any advice?
