Super Record 12 Speed Cassette
The new Super Record 12 Speed cassette sets offer significant advantages thanks to unchanged dimensions and full compatibility with wheels and frames. Campagnolo has always focused on cycling enthusiasts, aiming to enhance performance and make the impossible possible. Adding a new cog sounds simple, but it was a challenge to maintain the dimensions while also improving durability.
The new Super Record 12 Speed cassettes feature thinner cogs, a smaller footprint, and unchanged dimensions compared to the 11 Speed cogs. This allows all needs to be met with just two cassettes. The new 12th cog enables a linear up or down shift, with only one tooth skipped up to the seventh position, allowing the cyclist to find the optimal gear under all conditions.
Furthermore, the adjacent cogs ensure faster, quieter, and more precise shifting, thanks to the special tooth shape and surface treatment, which also extends durability. The six largest cogs are also offered as two three-piece sets, each consisting of a single steel part, thus avoiding energy losses. Thanks to spacers of the same thickness, cassette installation is straightforward.
