The name Veloce (Italian for fast) explicitly indicates how much its components, from the Ergopower brake-shift levers to the extremely precise rear derailleur, are designed for speed. The chain and sprockets must work in perfect harmony: Therefore, Campagnolo has optimized the tooth profiles of the cassette. The result is perfect synchronization in power transfer and, thanks to the Ultra-Drive design, quick shifting.

Chromed steel guide plates provide higher durability for the component and complete rust protection. They are standardized for both standard and compact cranksets, offering flexibility for use with all 10-speed groupsets.

CSD (Chain Security Device): The new chain protection system CSD achieves the highest stiffness values and also offers an adjustment that is completely independent of the front derailleur. It is compatible with all Campagnolo front derailleurs with a braze-on mount.

Mounting tool for the front derailleur: To ensure perfect installation and thus optimal function of the Campagnolo drivetrain system, a new tool has been developed that establishes the ideal position of the front derailleur in relation to the chainrings. The result is faster assembly and flawless function.
