PureGrip Compound
Based on activated silica compounds, a targeted blend technology in the performance segment has been developed. The result from our research and development department in Korbach, after intensive development efforts, is a new blend technology with excellent grip and durability characteristics. The new rubber compound, aptly named "PureGrip," ranks just behind our BlackChili compound and is used in performance products for the racing and mountain bike segments. It ensures long-lasting traction and high mileage for Continental tires, which are exclusively manufactured at the production facility in Hefei.

For the e-bike tire, Continental draws on over 100 years of experience in moped and motorcycle tires. All their city/trekking tires meet the standard for speeds up to 25 km/h. Tires marked with E50 are also approved for S-Pedelecs. With their high-quality construction, they offer excellent puncture protection, low rolling resistance, and protection against premature wear due to the additional driving force.
