The innovative Match system optimizes engagement for any MTB clip system, whether it's Crankbrothers or SPD. The shoe comes pre-assembled with a Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat in a neutral position, allowing it to be used immediately with Crankbrothers pedals.

The angled Match cleat box provides easy access to the pedals from both the front and back, preventing mud from entering. An extra-stiff carbon fiber shaft efficiently transfers power when climbing or sprinting.

The medium-friction rubber compound (MC1) allows for easy entry and exit from the pedals and is durable enough to withstand wear. The radial cleat pattern around the cleat ensures smooth disengagement from the pedal body.

The profile is designed for traction off the bike. Direction-specific angled and spaced toe and heel studs provide grip when climbing and descending in steep terrain. The tapered toe area enhances stability in challenging conditions.
