Product details
The extensively equipped Dörr Saturn 900 reflector telescope is the ideal device for beginners with high demands. However, advanced astro users will also have fun with the reflector telescope. The very stable telescope is easy to operate and has a tripod, an EQ2 mount, a finder scope, 3 eyepieces, a 2x Barlow lens and a moon filter. The Saturn 900 enables impressive observations of the moon, planets, stars, brighter nebulae, open star clusters and globular clusters. Even details of larger planets such as Saturn's ring or Jupiter's moons become visible. The DÖRR SATURN 900 is a reflector telescope or reflector telescope in Newtonian design. This design has proven itself over a long period of time. Generations of astronomers have favoured the Newtonian design because of its many advantages. Despite the large focal length of 900 mm and an aperture of 114 mm, the telescope tube is relatively compact. This is achieved by deflecting the light with the help of the primary and secondary mirrors. The mirrors not only make the telescope more compact, but also ensure that there are no chromatic aberrations - as can occur with refractor telescopes. The Saturn delivers very good optical quality. The Newtonian design of the astronomical telescope offers a lateral view. This ensures a comfortable and fatigue-free observation experience without having to bend down. The telescope rests on an LT1 tripod with aluminium tripod legs. It combines high stability with low weight. This is a great advantage if you want to transport the telescope. The tripod legs can be variably adjusted in height so that comfortable observation in an upright position is possible - regardless of your height. The triangular shelf between the tripod legs is ideal for storing eyepieces and other accessories during observation.
