Through collected feedback from countless riders in the Enduro World Series, the Ergon design team has managed to improve the popular GE1 in several details. The surface texture is now even grippier, and the rubber compound is softer, while maintaining a consistently precise grip feel. It actively supports the correct upper body/lower arm position when downhill riding – by rotating the grip surface 8% towards the handlebar axis, the elbows are automatically lifted outward when gripping. A forged inner clamp, full integral grip end connected to the inner core (patent pending) creates a soft, cushioning grip edge that allows the hand to grip all the way at the outer edge. The pressure-sensitive ulnar nerve, located on the outer hand, is protected. Compatible with carbon handlebars.
