Targeted material cutouts in the innovative Arch and Crown design ensure maximum torsional stiffness and low weight, along with the Kabolt SL axle, which further contributes to weight reduction. The new GlideCore air shaft significantly reduces friction—especially under axial loads, such as when quickly rolling over large stones or roots. The special construction minimizes the misalignment of the air piston in the standpipe. An increased bushing overlap of 30 mm reduces friction and provides a smooth ride and excellent stability, particularly at high speeds. The GRIP X cartridge has been specifically designed for trail and all-mountain use. With a lower weight than the GRIP X2, it offers an easy-to-use option with adjustable high and low-speed compression settings, as well as a customizable rebound setting to tackle even the most challenging trails. The new pressure equalization knobs are slimmer and easier to operate. The new 36/36SL Mud Guard is no longer attached but is instead bolted to the lower fork bridge and lowers for robust and scratch-free protection. Maximum tire width is 2.6 inches, and brake disc sizes range from 200 to 230 mm.
