The rotor uses internal vanes to allow air to flow between the two friction components. The induced airflow significantly reduces heat generation in the rotor.

The internally ventilated brake disc is specifically designed for our Tech V4 series brakes. The brake disc utilizes internal ribs to enable airflow between the two friction components. The induced airflow significantly reduces heat generation in the disc. Fantastic and consistent braking performance in wet conditions, thanks to the ability to clear the water layer through the ribs. Bench tests show up to 15% less heat generation compared to our floating brake discs. Weight: 203 mm: 288 g, 220 mm: n/a. For Tech 3 V4 and Tech 4 V4 brakes.
