Product details

Jagwire shift cable outer casings are the first choice for many major bicycle manufacturers worldwide. They rely on the proven Jagwire combination of premium quality, reliable durability, and outstanding performance. The outer casings made from lead-free PVC meet all international standards regarding material properties and chemical composition.

In addition to a wide range of colors, Jagwire shift cable outer casings are available in two different quality levels.

LEX: The standard quality LEX consists of a two-part casing for maximum resilience, linear strands of steel, and a liner (unlubricated).

LEX-SL: In addition to the features of the LEX outer casings, the LEX-SL comes with a Slick-Lube liner. Slick-Lube is a lubricant that is integrated into the liner along the entire length of the outer casing, significantly reducing the friction of the inner cable.

For even better and longer-lasting performance, Jagwire recommends using Hooded End Caps in areas with heavy contamination.
