Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes the tread layout and tire shape for modern, wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and take on a too-angular shape on wide rims, which negatively impacts performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm but perform excellently on all rims with an inner measurement between 30 and 39 mm. This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is tightly woven, lightweight, and flexible, ensuring that the tire performance remains consistently impressive.

Two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tires.
