Product details
High-quality racing tire with a grooved slick profile and dual compound silica tread that offers low rolling resistance, very long durability, and good corner grip. The puncture protection is equipped with Maxxis Silkworm Breaker. The foldable bead core ensures that the tire stays securely on the rim, even if it is made of Kevlar or another aramid fiber. Reduced weight and easy transport due to a compact size are additional advantages.
Dual Compound means that two different rubber mixtures are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures is planned according to the desired characteristics of the tire. Silkworm Technology is a material developed by Maxxis that protects the carcass of various models and increases puncture safety as well as the tear resistance of the carcass.
