The high-quality Maxxis casing with 60 threads per inch or 23 threads per cm is protected not only under the tread as usual but also all around the sidewalls with Maxxis' innovative SilkShield. The durable Maxxis rubber compound in the center of the tread impresses with low rolling resistance and is complemented on the sides by a grippy compound that provides excellent cornering grip even in wet conditions. Reflective stripes on the sidewalls enhance safety. With its high stability at a low weight, the Overdrive Excel is also very well suited for pedelecs/e-bikes with assistance up to 25 km/h.
