The power is introduced via the XC12 carbon sole. Direct and effective, thanks to the 100% carbon inserts in the pedal area and a 12.0 stiffness index, which defines stiffness on a scale from 0 to 15. Strategically placed TPU inserts allow for high slip resistance and abrasion resistance. The upper shoe features a patented, ultra-light XFrame and an overlap construction made of innovative materials that perfectly wrap the foot, avoid pressure points, and transmit every watt of power to the drivetrain without loss. Thanks to the latest technologies, we were able to save 5% weight in the rubber protector area while still guaranteeing abrasion resistance and unique 360° protection over the entire shoe. Easy adjustment and a consistent fit are ensured by the SLW2 twist closure system, which allows for millimeter-precise adjustment and adaptation of the shoe with its micro-step grid. The new Easyfit Climaflex entry area combines the extreme flexibility of the Gore-Tex Rattler membrane with the high thermal insulation of neoprene, guaranteeing mobility as well as cold and wet protection. The ergonomic heel shape features an anatomical fit thanks to the latest thermoforming technology, combined with our Arctic 4Layer insole made of EVA and aluminum, as well as EVA and pile, ensuring excellent thermal insulation. The 360° reflective inserts provide greater safety in poor visibility conditions.
