To achieve extreme durability, the materials used have been carefully selected: the tarpaulin fabric employed here is also used for oil booms at sea and must withstand the stormiest waves of the salty oceans. A tougher stress test is hardly possible. The cotton areas have been coated to be waterproof and water-repellent, allowing rain and splashes to run off. The assembly of the components is done, among other things, through meticulous and precise welding by hand in Germany. Additionally, all components come from Europe (cotton from Italy and tarpaulin fabric from Finland). As is customary for racktime trunk bags, YVES 2.0 is also equipped with a Snapit 2.0 adapter, allowing for secure and easy mounting on all racktime 2.0 system carriers. Furthermore, the angled design is optimally aligned with rider ergonomics.
